Phobias

  • A persistent, abnormal, and irrational fear of a specific thing or situation that compels one to avoid it, despite the awareness and reassurance that it is not dangerous. Where the phobia is so severe as to detract from the sufferers normal quality of life, the sufferer can often feel trapped, anxious and/or panicked. Most phobias are LEARNT, whether that be from our own experience or that of a close family member. Hypnosis can be used both interactively to discover the root cause of a phobia and also to desensitise the mind to that cause and install appropriate behaviour patterns when confronted with the situation in the future.
