John Hutchings started working life by joining the British Army straight from school completing a full 22 year career. John has always had a keen interest in “Matters of the Mind” and especially the area surrounding hypnosis and it’s applications. Having done several operational tours whilst in the services, he witnessed many friends and colleagues suffer from mild to acute Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which has fuelled a further interest into how hypnosis can benefit any client suffering from trauma, whether physical or in the mind.
Having devoured many books and other media on the subject of hypnotherapy John went on to study and qualify as a Clinical Hypnotherapist with the Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy in London and started INSIGHTZ with a firm desire to help those in need and show people how they can help themselves. John also now lectures and is a member of the faculty at the ICH for PTSD and Psychological Trauma.
